Cho Kuk Prepaid 333 Drinks for Participants of Impeachment Rally

Former leader of the Joguk Innovation Party, Jo Guk, who was sentenced to 2 years in prison, prepaid 333 drinks for participants of the impeachment rally.

On the 13th, Jo posted on his SNS, "I have prepaid 333 drinks for Joguk Innovation Party members and citizens coming to the Yeouido rally on the 14th," adding, "Please claim them under my name. A small farewell gift."

He also uploaded a photo of himself prepaying at the cafe along with the payment receipt.

The Joguk Innovation Party created a sensation in the April 10 general election, securing 13 proportional representation members of the National Assembly.

Jo’s side reportedly submitted a request to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office on the morning of the same day, asking to postpone his scheduled appearance to the 15th or 16th due to personal affairs.

Meanwhile, following Jo’s loss of his parliamentary seat, Baek Seon-hee, a professor in the Department of Social Welfare at Seoul Theological University, succeeded to the proportional representation seat on the same day. In the National Assembly plenary session, Representative Baek said, "I will work with my fellow lawmakers to ensure the passage of the impeachment motion, reflecting the will of the people."
