Goryeong-gun (Governor Lee Nam-cheol) held the '2024 County Administration Policy Proposal Contest' Proposal Review Committee meeting on the 14th at the Ureuk Room of the County Office, selecting 4 award-winning proposals from the public officials category and 4 from the general public category.
A total of 469 proposals were submitted in two categories: public officials and the general public. Notably, many proposals aimed to promote Goryeong with the theme of the 'Jisandong Ancient Tombs,' which are registered as a World Heritage site.
After departmental review and practical evaluation, the proposals were submitted to the Proposal Review Committee, resulting in the selection of 8 outstanding proposals.
In the public officials category, the proposal for 'Installing small microphones at the civil service desk for elderly and hearing-impaired clients' won the bronze prize, with three other proposals receiving encouragement awards. In the general public category, the proposal for 'Creating distinctive streets with everyday designs related to history such as Daegaya and ancient tombs' won the bronze prize, with three other proposals receiving encouragement awards.
The final evaluation results will be individually notified to the outstanding proposers and can also be checked on the Goryeong-gun website.
A Goryeong-gun official stated, “As always, many people have offered diverse opinions for the development of our county administration this year as well. We will do our best to reflect the selected outstanding proposals in county administration to enhance administrative efficiency and convenience.” He added, “We express our gratitude to the awardees and everyone who participated in the contest.”
