In the men's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 29th (local time), he earned 2.4124 points, jumping five spots from 42nd last week. He accumulated points by winning the Woori Financial Championship (total prize money 1.5 billion KRW) on the Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour, which concluded the previous day at The Ferrum Club in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province (par 72, 7,232 yards). This marks his third KPGA Tour victory in one year since winning this tournament last year, with a winner's prize of 300 million KRW. Immediately after this tournament, he will head to the United States to participate in the CJ Cup and other PGA Tour events held in Texas starting from the 2nd of next month.


Scottie Scheffler (USA), Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), and Wyndham Clark (USA) maintained their positions at 1st to 3rd. Xander Schauffele (USA) pushed Jon Rahm (Spain) down to 5th and secured 4th place. South Korea's Kim Joo-hyung is ranked 23rd, Ahn Byung-hoon 41st, and Kim Si-woo 45th. Lee Kyung-hoon is 91st, Kim Sung-hyun 129th, and Song Young-han 240th.
