Trump's 'Agenda 47' is a website explaining the re-election pledges of former President Donald Trump, who is running in the 47th U.S. presidential election scheduled for November next year. Here, '47' refers not to the number of pledges but to the 47th president. Agenda 47 is structured with former President Trump personally appearing in each topic to explain policy directions.

The core of the agenda is America First. It mainly consists of plans to prioritize American interests in all areas of national affairs, including trade, diplomacy, defense, economy, education, and immigration.

Among the pledges announced by former President Trump, the area that South Korea should pay attention to is the economy. The economic sector also focuses on protecting domestic industries and consumers in line with America First, and notably emphasizes the rollback of President Joe Biden's green policies by pledging a return to traditional industries, especially in the energy and automobile sectors. Through a video explaining energy policy and the U.S. automobile industry, former President Trump stated, "Biden administration's electric vehicle policy will eliminate about 117,000 jobs related to American automobile manufacturing, with workers in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio being the hardest hit," and pledged to abolish the automobile fuel efficiency regulations and mandatory electric vehicle sales quotas pushed by President Biden during his administration. He also clearly expressed his intention to repeal the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), a key policy of President Biden. If former President Trump succeeds in his re-election, it is expected that Korean automobile manufacturers and battery companies will also be significantly affected.

China containment policy is also one of the major issues in economic policy. In a video titled "A New Trade Plan for American Workers," former President Trump emphasized, "My agenda is to impose taxes on China to rebuild America," and stated, "I will revoke China's Most Favored Nation trade status and adopt a four-year plan to gradually stop all essential imports from China, ranging from electronics to steel and pharmaceuticals."

U.S. protectionism is expected to be further strengthened. In a video explaining trade policy, former President Trump declared, "If India, China, and others impose 100% or 200% tariffs on American products, we will respond in kind with 'an eye for an eye,'" and announced plans to enact the 'Reciprocal Trade Act' to significantly raise tariffs on foreign products.

Additionally, in the defense sector, he pledged to build advanced missile defense systems, withdraw from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and end the Russia-Ukraine war.
