Hanacard Online Payment Suspended on 18th for "System Improvement Work"

Offline Payments Are Available Normally

Hanacard will suspend some payment services, including online payments, on the 18th for system improvement work.

Hanacard announced on the 14th that its website, app services, and some payment services will be temporarily suspended from 0:00 to 18:00 on the 18th.

First, from 0:00 to 3:00 on the 18th, the approval (payment) system will be suspended, restricting all online payments, simple payments (Samsung Pay, Naver Pay, Coupay, Hanapay, etc.), use of check, prepaid, and gift cards, as well as the Hanamoney app. Real-time notification services (SMS, app PUSH, Kakao Notification Talk) will also be suspended. However, physical credit card payments at offline merchants can be used without interruption.

For the Travelog card, which many customers use while staying overseas recently, credit payment methods will be available without interruption. However, the foreign currency Hanamoney payment method will be restricted from 0:00 to 3:00 on that day.

Short-term card loans (cash service) and long-term card loans (card loans) will be suspended from 0:00 to 18:00. Cash service withdrawals via automated teller machines (ATMs) will be available from 12:00 noon onward.

During the system upgrade, the website, Hanacard app, point usage, limit inquiry and changes, amusement park discount admissions, voucher usage, valet parking, and free airport lounge services will also be temporarily suspended.

However, loss reports for accident prevention can be processed immediately through the call center. Detailed services and usage restriction times suspended on the 18th can be checked through the Hanacard website and app.

A Hanacard official said, "We ask for your understanding as we cause inconvenience in service use due to the system upgrade for more stable service provision," adding, "We will continue to do our best to provide better services and benefits."
