[Featured Stock] Quantapia, Dr. Kim Hoon, Developer of World's First Commercial Quantum Image Sensor... Sandcraft Emerges as Largest Shareholder 'Strong Performance'

The stock price of Quantapia is on the rise. This appears to be influenced by the fact that Dr. Kim Hoon of CDIVICE, who commercialized the world's first quantum image sensor, is the founder of Sandcraft. Sandcraft is a major shareholder of Quantapia.

As of 10:28 AM on the 26th, Quantapia was trading at 3,400 KRW, up 5.43% (175 KRW) compared to the previous trading day.

Dr. Kim Hoon, the Korean-American founder (CEO) of CDIVICE, gave a presentation on "The Future of Image Sensors Using Quantum Mechanics" at the IQTNYC (Inside Quantum Technology New York) conference held in Manhattan, New York, on the 25th (local time).

CDIVICE is a venture company founded by Dr. Kim based on his patents related to quantum mechanics, and it plans to manufacture image sensors applying this technology.

On that day, Dr. Kim introduced CDIVICE's QMOS (quantum effect CMOS) sensor using quantum mechanics and explained the basic principle technology. He claimed that this product could replace the conventional CMOS sensors currently dominating the market. The market's main products are made with planar metal-oxide-semiconductor technology as short-wave infrared (SWIR) sensors.

Meanwhile, it is understood that Dr. Kim Hoon established Sandcraft for the business of the world's first commercialized quantum image sensor by CDIVICE and acquired Quantapia, a KOSDAQ-listed company, which is believed to have attracted strong buying interest from investors.
