The MBC entertainment program 'Born to Travel the World 2' (hereinafter 'Born to Travel 2'), which covers travel stories in India, has suspended filming of its popup camp.
MBC stated, "The 'World Travel 2 Dongmyo Popup Camp,' scheduled to run from June 2 to 11, has been decided to be suspended in mourning for the train collision accident that occurred on June 3 in Odisha, India."
They added, "We ask for your generous understanding and express our deepest condolences to the victims of the accident."
On the evening of June 3, around 7 PM, a passenger train, the Howrah Superfast Express, derailed in Balasore, Odisha, India, and collided with an oncoming passenger train, the Coromandel Express. The Indian government has deployed 1,200 rescue workers and military personnel for rescue operations, and the fire department announced that there are 288 fatalities and about 900 injured.
'Born to Travel 2' is a program depicting Kian84's journey to India and will premiere on June 11. The cast includes Kian84 (Kim Heemin), Dex (Kim Jinyoung), and Panibottle (Park Jaehan).
