President Yoon Suk-yeol expressed his deep sorrow over the train derailment and collision accident that occurred near Balasore in Odisha, eastern India, on the 3rd.
President Yoon posted on his Twitter account on the same day, stating this.
President Yoon conveyed, "On behalf of Korea, I extend my deepest condolences to the victims and their families and wish for a speedy recovery."
Meanwhile, the day before, an accident involving two passenger trains and one freight train occurred in the Balasore area of India. So far, it has been confirmed that over 280 people have died.
