Emart announced on the 10th that it will sell its private label (PL) TV 'Electroman 65-inch Google TV' equipped with the next-generation operating system (OS) Google TV.
To commemorate the launch of this product, it will be sold at a discounted price of 549,000 KRW, 150,000 KRW off, when paid in full with the event card until the 17th. The Electroman 65-inch Google TV is an upgraded version of the existing Electroman 55-inch Android TV. It offers personalized content recommendations using artificial intelligence (AI) features, parental control functions, and an intuitive menu layout. It supports online video streaming services (OTT) such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Apple TV, as well as various applications (apps) including games, sports, and news. It features voice search through the remote control and supports 4K UHD and wireless soundbar connection via Bluetooth. After-sales service (AS) is also available through over 100 specialized service centers nationwide.
According to Emart, from January to April this year, the sales proportion of PL TVs among total TV sales was about 13.7%. In particular, the Electroman 55-inch Smart TV, which was sold at a special price during the Landers Day event on the 1st and 2nd of last month, was very popular, selling more than 2,000 units in two days.
An Emart official said, "The number of customers who prefer large screens of 65 inches or more is increasing, and a TV culture that enjoys TV through various uses rather than simply watching is being established," adding, "In line with this trend, we have introduced a cost-effective PL TV equipped with Google TV OS on a 65-inch large screen."
