Gmarket and Auction announced on the 8th that they will hold the largest shopping festival of the first half of the year, 'Big Smile Day,' for 12 days until the 19th. Big Smile Day is the largest online shopping event in Korea, with participation from over 200 major brands and more than 30,000 sellers.

On the Big Smile Day page coupon tab, all Gmarket and Auction members will receive two types of coupons daily. These include a coupon offering up to 30,000 KRW discount on purchases over 50,000 KRW and a coupon offering up to 10,000 KRW discount on purchases over 10,000 KRW. Smile Club members, who are membership subscribers, can receive an additional coupon of the same type every day. There are also high-value discount coupons provided every three days. For purchases over 70,000 KRW, discounts of up to 300,000 KRW are available, and Smile Club members receive one additional coupon every three days as well. All products bearing the Big Smile Day logo are eligible for these discounts.

Additionally, by using the convenient payment system Smile Pay and paying with affiliated cards such as the Smile Card, customers can receive an immediate discount of up to 70,000 KRW. Extra discount coupons are also provided for each participating brand.

Special price products from various brands will also be showcased. Compared to the previous event, 15% more sellers are participating, expanding the range of product choices. The Big Smile Day brand tab introduces about 200 brands, including 12 mega sponsorship brands such as Samsung Electronics, Roborock, LG Electronics, Ecovacs, Black Hole, TopTen, Jeonggwanjang, LG Household & Health Care, P&G, Amorepacific, Nongshim, and CJ CheilJedang. The special price tab reveals products challenging the lowest prices every day at midnight to stabilize prices. The first day of the event, the 8th, is designated as 'Digital Shopping Day,' featuring various digital products at the lowest prices, including AirPods Pro 2nd generation, Samsung Galaxy Tab, and Galaxy Watch5.

This Big Smile Day applies AI-based hyper-personalization technology. By recommending special price products tailored to individual interests, it aims to reduce customers' shopping fatigue. A feature that automatically calculates and informs customers of the maximum benefit price has also been introduced.
