Gwangju Changgyeong Center 'Pre-Startup Package General Field' Rechallenge Expert Mentoring

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Center for Creative Economy and Innovation announced on the 28th that it held one-on-one customized expert mentoring for the '2022 Preliminary Startup Package General Field Applicants' on the 23rd at the first-floor co-working space within the AI Startup Camp.

The '2022 Preliminary Startup Package Re-challenge Mentoring' is a program that provides one-on-one consulting by matching experts in technology and management fields on overall startup items such as business plan writing and BM advancement to applicants who applied for the 2022 Preliminary Startup Package General Field but passed the eligibility review and were eliminated in the document and presentation evaluation stages.

In particular, the prospective entrepreneurs participating in this mentoring are expected to strengthen their basic startup capabilities and increase the possibility of successful startups for re-challengers through in-depth mentoring on business plan improvements, commercialization directions of startup items, and technical difficulties.

The Preliminary Startup Package support project, overseen by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, is a project that supports commercialization funds, startup education, and expert mentoring to nurture prospective entrepreneurs with innovative technology startup ideas. In May, a total of 27 prospective entrepreneurs were finally selected considering the excellence of business items, commercialization potential, and future success possibilities.

Center Director Ha Sang-yong said, “Through this re-challenge mentoring, the Gwangju Center for Creative Economy and Innovation will play a platform role that intensively supports the revitalization of startup re-entry support in the region and provides prospective entrepreneurs with the experience and know-how necessary for startups. We will continue to play a key role in making Gwangju a city with a high startup success rate.”
