Lee Jun-seok Visits Kyiv, Ukraine... "Discussed Urban Restoration Cooperation Projects"

[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] A delegation led by Lee Jun-seok, leader of the People Power Party, and affiliated lawmakers visited Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, on the 5th (local time).

Oleksiy Kuleba, governor of Kyiv, posted on Facebook that day, "Today, a parliamentary delegation led by Lee Jun-seok, leader of the ruling People Power Party of Korea, officially visited Kyiv," along with photos of the delegation.

Governor Kuleba stated, "The delegation visited the civilian torture burial site in Bucha near Kyiv and inspected the destroyed residential area in Irpin, another region."

He added, "The delegation discussed cooperation and joint projects for the restoration of Kyiv after the Russian invasion," and expressed gratitude to overseas partners providing comprehensive support.

Earlier, the delegation departed for Ukraine on the evening of the 3rd and met with NGO representatives on the 4th to discuss refugee support measures.

During their visit to Ukraine, they are scheduled to meet with Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine.
