Every Fri, Sat, Sun Accompanied by Forest Education Experts at Dureungsan Recreation Forest
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Daemyung Sono Group's Sono International announced on the 30th that it will operate a children's nature exploration program where children can enjoy ecological experiences together at Durungsan Natural Recreation Forest within Vivaldi Park in Hongcheon, Gangwon Province.
The children's nature exploration program, themed "Follow the Forest Path to Vivaldi, Find the Hidden Secrets of Durungsan," is Vivaldi Park's representative play program where participants can experience nature through their five senses by exploring forest flora and fauna such as trees, flowers, and insects. Missions for the nature explorers include finding plants and insects that children like, understanding seasonal changes using tools, nature exploration, and making natural objects.
The program runs three times a day until December 31, every Friday from 3:30 PM, and on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:30 PM. Each session lasts about two hours.
Each session accommodates around six children, and a forestry education expert accompanies all program schedules. Participation is possible by purchasing a package that includes the program and making a reservation in advance (on-site reservations for general customers are also available). However, detailed operations and schedules may change depending on weather and on-site conditions.
For more detailed information about the children's nature exploration program and package products, please check the Sono Hotels & Resorts or Vivaldi Park websites.
A Sono International official said, "Vivaldi Park is a comprehensive theme leisure facility where you can enjoy various indoor and outdoor activities seasonally, including the water park (Ocean World) and ski resort. The children's nature exploration program will be a valuable opportunity for children to have special experiences and learning by seeing, hearing, and feeling nature while socializing with peers during the lush green season."
