[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 2nd that it has opened a digital partnership branch called 'KB Digital Bank NB Gangnam Terminal Branch' inside the Goseok Terminal Station in Seocho-gu, Seoul, through a partnership with Emart No Brand.

The NB Gangnam Terminal Branch, the first KB Digital Bank, is located inside the Goseok Terminal Station in Seocho-gu, Seoul, an area with heavy foot traffic, significantly enhancing customers' access to financial services.

It is especially useful for customers of Emart, subway station, and express bus terminal who need to handle urgent banking tasks. Additionally, it applies KB Kookmin Bank's latest digital financial technologies such as the intelligent automated machine STM and a video consultation-only counter to provide customers with newer and more convenient financial services.

The KB Digital Bank NB Gangnam Terminal Branch, located inside Emart No Brand Gangnam Terminal Branch, is installed as a camping car-style booth with the concept of 'urban relaxation.'

The operating hours are from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., allowing use even after the bank branch's closing time of 4 p.m. Available services through STM include ▲cash and check deposit and withdrawal ▲issuance of check cards and security media (security cards, card-type OTP), and at the KB video consultation-only counter, customers can receive face-to-face level services such as ▲opening deposit and withdrawal accounts ▲new savings and installment savings ▲internet banking registration and cancellation ▲credit loans. The video consultation-only counter operates from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A KB Kookmin Bank official stated, "The opening of KB Digital Bank is part of KB Kookmin Bank's innovation of face-to-face channels and the first step toward advancing into a digital lifestyle financial platform." He added, "We will continue various innovations and efforts to improve financial convenience for financial consumers, including the financially vulnerable."
