Ediya Coffee Launches Six Limited-Edition Summer Bingsu Varieties

[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Ediya Coffee announced on the 2nd that it will launch a season-limited menu of bingsu ahead of summer.

This year, the single-serving bingsu lineup, which gained tremendous popularity last summer due to social distancing caused by COVID-19 and the trend of enjoying desserts alone called ‘hondijok,’ has been expanded to three types, and a total of six types of bingsu, including the existing steady seller Snowflake Bingsu, will be introduced.

The three single-serving bingsu products are reasonably priced and can be enjoyed neatly and comfortably alone. The ‘Pat Injeolmi Single Bingsu’ features a classic red bean base with crunchy ice, ice cream, whole red beans, and savory injeolmi, making it delicious for people of all ages. The ‘Mango Passion Yogur-nola Single Bingsu’ combines a yogurt base with sweet mango and passion fruit, topped with ice cream, crispy granola, and honey to provide a variety of textures. The ‘Strawberry Peach Yogur-nola Single Bingsu’ is characterized by a harmonious taste of sweet strawberry and peach combined on a refreshing yogurt-based ice, with honey and crispy granola.

Snowflake Bingsu is finely shaved ice with a soft texture, making it great for sharing with others. It comes in three types to suit different tastes: ‘Pat Injeolmi Snowflake Bingsu,’ which has a rich savory flavor; ‘Mango Snowflake Bingsu,’ which offers the sweetness of apple mango; and ‘Strawberry Cheese Snowflake Bingsu,’ which combines fresh strawberries with rich cheesecake cubes.

The six summer season bingsu menu items will be available for a limited time from the 3rd of this month until September 30 nationwide at Ediya Coffee stores. They can be ordered in various ways including takeout, delivery, and pickup.
