[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Hana Tour announced on the 29th that there are 39 countries where Korean travelers can enter without quarantine, and among them, 35 countries allow children to enter without quarantine.

Hana Tour analyzed the current quarantine measures for overseas entrants through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, various embassies, and tourism offices, and found that among the major overseas travel destinations for Korean travelers, a total of 39 countries allow entry without quarantine.

By region, Europe had the most countries with 19, including the United Kingdom, France, and Switzerland. The Southeast Asia region, which has a high proportion of Korean travel demand, is increasingly opening its borders by easing quarantine measures. From April, quarantine exemption will also apply upon entry to Malaysia.

Among the 39 countries, 26 allow entry for unvaccinated travelers. Europe accounts for 19 of these countries, and Vietnam and Dubai also permit quarantine-free entry regardless of vaccination status. However, depending on the region, travelers may need to submit a PCR negative certificate or antigen test result taken 1-2 days before departure, or a vaccination certificate upon entry.

In 35 countries including Saipan, Guam, Singapore, and Australia, children under 12 years old are mostly exempt from PCR testing and vaccination proof if accompanied by parents who meet the entry requirements.

Hana Tour is conducting an early bird promotion until the 17th of next month, focusing on regions where quarantine-free entry is possible. Products for Spain and Canada offer discounts up to 300,000 KRW, Australia and Hawaii up to 150,000 KRW, and Saipan and the Philippines up to 100,000 KRW.

A Hana Tour official said, "Although domestic and international quarantine measures are being eased, entry requirements vary by region and are frequently changing," adding, "We are responding more quickly than ever to local news to provide safety and convenience to our customers."
