[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] BMW Group Korea announced on the 27th that it held an awards ceremony selecting dealer employees who provided the best service in sales and after-sales (AS) for BMW and MINI brands last year. Dongseong Motors was selected as the BMW Best Dealer, and Deutsch Motors was awarded as the MINI Best Dealer.
Among the senior and master level certified sales staff recognized by the BMW Group Korea Training Academy, the top 10 sales premium club members who achieved the highest sales records last year included Haikjun Ha from National Motors, Hyungmin Kim and Jongwook Choi from Deutsch Motors, Iseop Ahn, Hyunwoo Jo, and Sangkyu Han from Kolon Motors, and Jaeseon Yoo, Hoyul Yoo, Wankyu Lee, and Jaehyun Choi from Handok Motors. The Expert Club 10 included Nohho Park from Deutsch Motors and nine others.
The Best BMW M Showroom was awarded to Handok Motors Seocho Showroom, and the Best BMW M High Performance Sales Consultant was Lee Choonghyun from Deutsch Motors. Jin Tae Hyung, who achieved cumulative sales of 195 high-performance M brand vehicles, received awards more than seven times and became the first in Korea to be named in the M Sales Premium Club. The Best BMW xEV Showroom was Handok Motors Yongsan I'Park Mall Showroom.
The MINI Sales Premium Club included Hongseok Na, Hayan Park, and Inseung Song from Deutsch Motors; Seungmin Kim, Chaeri Kim, and Hyuna Park from Bavarian Motors; and Eunji Kim, Seunghoon Lee, Minseok Choi, and Eunjin Choi from Kolon Motors. Geowoon Jung from Bavarian Motors, who has been named more than seven times, was newly inducted into the MINI Hall of Fame this year. The Best MINI JCW Showrooms were Deutsch Motors Gangnam Showroom and Kolon Motors Seocho Showroom. For certified pre-owned car sales, the BMW Sales Premium Club BPS included Daegyu Kim and Hakmin Lee from Deutsch Motors and Junghoon Lee from Dongseong Motors.
Additionally, among the Best Service Centers, the major maintenance category was awarded to Samcheonri Motors Dongtan Service Center, and minor maintenance to the same dealer’s Anyang Service Center. Separate awards were also given for technicians and service advisors. Bernard Therriot, Vice President of BMW Group Korea, said, "Last year’s record-breaking sales exceeding 70,000 units, the best performance since establishment, was the result of all dealer employees working together to create differentiated service."
