Kooksoondang to Raise Makgeolli Prices by Up to 25% Starting Next Month

[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Kooksoondang announced on the 19th that it will raise the prices of its rice Makgeolli products by 9.9% to 25.0% starting next month.

The supply price of 'Kooksoondang Rice' 750ml will increase from 1,040 won to 1,300 won, and the supply price of 'Kooksoondang Rice' can 350ml will rise from 740 won to 840 won.

A Kooksoondang official stated, "Due to the increase in domestic rice prices and raw material costs, we have decided to raise the prices of Makgeolli products."
