[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Gongcha Korea announced on the 6th that it will hold an event offering a 30% discount on summer new menu items every Friday this month (6th, 13th, 20th, 27th) when paying with Samsung Card.
The event beverages include six summer new menu items: three types of Mint Choco and three types of Chodang Corn. The three Mint Choco items consist of ‘Mint Choco Chip Milk Tea + Pearl,’ ‘Mint Popping Choco Smoothie,’ and ‘Choco-coated Mint Cookie Smoothie.’
The three Chodang Corn items, released last month, are ‘Chodang Corn Milk Tea + Pearl,’ ‘Chodang Corn Cheese Jewelry Smoothie,’ and ‘Chodang Corn Popping Smoothie.’ This combination of high-sugar-content Chodang corn and Gongcha’s tea variation know-how in milk tea has attracted consumer attention.
During the event period, the same benefits can be received not only with regular cards but also with Samsung Cards registered on Samsung Pay. However, simple payment methods such as KakaoPay and Payco are excluded from the discount benefits.
The discount applies once per day per card, up to two drinks, and when purchasing more than two drinks, the discount applies to the highest-priced item among the event menu. Benefits can be received up to four times on the four Fridays when the event is held.
Participation is only possible when ordering at the counter; benefits are not available for kiosk or delivery orders. Additionally, membership app stamp accumulation and overlapping discounts are not allowed.
