Kyobo Life Insurance Announces Recruitment for Startups Participating in InnoStage 3rd Cohort Kyobo Life Insurance announced on the 28th that it is recruiting startups to participate in the 3rd batch of Open Innovation InnoStage.


[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Kyobo Life Insurance announced on the 28th that it is recruiting startups to participate in the 3rd batch of the Open Innovation InnoStage program.


The recruitment fields are ▲Life Care ▲Wealth Care ▲Future Tech, among others.


Selected companies will receive benefits such as a business support fund of 10 million KRW per team, investment and mentoring from the accelerator Krypton, collaboration and partnership with Kyobo Life Insurance's operational departments. Depending on the results of the program running from August this year to January next year, follow-up investments of up to 1 billion KRW will also be considered.


Companies wishing to participate can apply through the InnoStage recruitment website by July 5th.


Kyobo Life Insurance has been continuing collaboration with startups that can drive future business initiatives such as the company's pursued digital transformation strategy through the 1st and 2nd batch projects.


The operator of the activity platform "Frip," "Frentrip," which participated in the 2nd batch, introduced Korea's first activity-specific insurance together with Kyobo Life Planet. The 1st batch participant team, the childcare teacher matching service "Jjaekakak-eo," recently secured an investment of 1 billion KRW from Kyobo Life Insurance, kicking off a full-fledged business partnership.


The 2nd batch winning team "Jejemimi," which provides the childcare photo automatic organizing app "Ssukssuk Charkak," also achieved growth such as a 1100% increase in downloads and securing 4 million pieces of infant media data.
