[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] A male employee at a guesthouse in Busan has been referred to the prosecution on charges of forcibly molesting a woman by entering her room.

According to the police, on the 9th, the Haeundae Police Station in Busan investigated guesthouse employee Mr. A and sent him to the prosecution with an opinion of indictment for violating the "Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes."

Mr. A is accused of entering the room of a female employee in her 20s, Ms. B, who works at a guesthouse in Haeundae-gu, around 4:50 a.m. on September 27, and molesting her.

Ms. B testified to the police, "When I woke up, I was naked, and Mr. A was groping my entire body."

According to Ms. B, on the day of the incident, she drank alcohol with about six guesthouse employees, including Mr. A, and the drinking session continued until 3:30 a.m.

Ms. B's room has a lock on the door that cannot be opened without a password. Regarding this, Ms. B claims, "Employee Mr. A entered the password by using the 'room password file' saved on the computer and broke in."

On the other hand, Mr. A strongly denies the molestation, stating, "I did not molest her, and the room password was given to me by Ms. B."

The police stated, "We cannot disclose details related to the case."
