Jeonnam's First Luxury Hotel 'Rakhee' Opens in Mokpo

According to Hongbok Co., Ltd. on the 27th, they are building ‘Rakhee’ Mokpo branch, Jeonnam’s largest hotel near Mokpo Station in Sangnak-dong, equipped with a convention center that can accommodate over 800 people, restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores, and more.

‘Rakhee’ Mokpo branch, which will break ground on the 3rd of next month, will be a 19-story building above ground and 2 basement levels, featuring a total of 513 guest rooms, banquet halls, massage shops, fitness centers, and other premium facilities.

The guest rooms will be located from the 4th to the 18th floor. The 1st floor will house a happy lounge, bakery coffee shop, specialized Korean restaurant, and convenience store. The 2nd floor will feature a large convention center and banquet hall capable of accommodating over 800 people, as well as a fitness center, expected to satisfy both business and tourism demands simultaneously.

Additionally, the 19th floor rooftop will offer top-tier facilities such as an infinity pool, poolside caf?, skywalk (sky promenade), and rooftop restaurant, establishing itself as a local landmark where visitors can enjoy unique experiences.

Notably, it will be a state-of-the-art automated system hotel that does not require a room key from check-in to check-out.

‘Rakhee’ Mokpo branch will be located in the heart of Mokpo, boasting excellent accessibility by land, sea, and air, including KTX·SRT Mokpo Station, Mokpo Passenger Ferry Terminal, Muan International Airport, and Seohaean Expressway, as well as nearby tourist attractions such as Cheonsa Bridge, Mokpo Marine Cable Car, and Yeongam South Links Golf Course.

Completion is scheduled for March 2023, with hotel operations targeted for May 2023. The sales promotion center is located in Sang-dong, Mokpo City.
