[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Bong-ju] Actor couple Kang Seong-min and Jeong Ara welcomed a baby girl on the 9th.

On the 10th, Kang Seong-min's agency, Park Plus Entertainment, announced, "Kang Seong-min and Jeong Ara gave birth to a daughter on the night of the 9th," adding, "Both the mother and the baby are healthy."

Kang Seong-min and Jeong Ara got married last June after dating for one year and six months. Later, Jeong Ara shared the news of her pregnancy by posting an ultrasound photo on her Instagram in March.

Meanwhile, Kang Seong-min debuted in 1997 as a member of the group UNO and later transitioned to acting, appearing in dramas such as "Cheongdamdong Scandal," "Blood," "Defendant," "Get Out of My Way, Fate," and "Dangerous Promise."

Jeong Ara graduated from Chung-Ang University with a degree in Dance and has appeared in dramas including "Sign," "Birth of a Family," "All Kinds of Daughters-in-Law," and "Producer."
