This Banana White Cream also contains real banana ingredients, enhancing the sweet and fragrant banana flavor. The marshmallow filling contains ‘Banana Cream’ with real banana ingredients, creating a softer texture along with a rich and full banana taste. To achieve this, Orion newly established dedicated manufacturing facilities for Choco Pie Banana.
The package features a trendy banana image, creating a brighter visual that stimulates the desire of the younger generation to take SNS certification shots.
Choco Pie Banana is a sister product first introduced in 2016 to commemorate Orion’s 60th anniversary and the 42nd anniversary of Choco Pie’s creation. At launch, it caused a shortage phenomenon as all units sold out immediately upon display, and it surpassed 100 million units in cumulative sales within six months, receiving great response from consumers and sparking a banana craze in the food industry. Starting with Choco Pie Banana, various transformations of Choco Pie have been made domestically and internationally, including Chal Choco Pie, spring limited strawberry-flavored Choco Pie, China’s Choco Pie Matcha, Vietnam’s Choco Pie Dark, and Russia’s berry-flavored Choco Pie, continuing a new heyday for Choco Pie.
