The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed big data on 510 individual girl group members' brands from July 15, 2020, to August 15, 2020, extracting 69,950,326 pieces of brand big data. They analyzed the brand reputation index using participation index, media index, communication index, and community index based on consumer behavior toward individual girl group brands. Compared to 81,501,639 pieces of girl group individual brand big data in July 2020, this is a 14.17% decrease.
Ranked first, BLACKPINK Jennie's brand showed a participation index of 720,958, media index of 357,453, communication index of 705,983, and community index of 764,632, resulting in a brand reputation index of 2,549,026. Compared to the July brand reputation index of 4,820,968, this is a 47.13% decline.
Ranked second, Red Velvet Irene's brand showed a participation index of 227,652, media index of 966,570, communication index of 696,280, and community index of 277,204, resulting in a brand reputation index of 2,167,706. Compared to the July brand reputation index of 3,119,931, this is a 30.52% decline.
Ranked third, Oh My Girl Seunghee's brand showed a participation index of 1,321,496, media index of 269,482, communication index of 245,175, and community index of 175,990, resulting in a brand reputation index of 2,012,142. Compared to the July brand reputation index of 789,695, this is a 154.80% increase.
Gu Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute, stated, "In link analysis for BLACKPINK Jennie's brand, 'sexy, thankful, record' ranked highly, and keyword analysis showed 'SOLO, fashion, YouTube' as prominent. The positive-to-negative ratio analysis showed a positive ratio of 83.77%."
