[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Hyesoo] On the afternoon of the 25th, the MV for Ssaksseuri's title track "Dashi Yeogi Badatga" was revealed on MBC's "How Do You Play?"
On this day’s "How Do You Play?", the debut preparation episodes of Ssaksseuri continued. First, Ssaksseuri began filming the music video for their title track "Dashi Yeogi Badatga," which they had practiced hard in the previous episode. Dressed in 90s-themed outfits and performing fresh choreography, the three members then proceeded to monitor the footage.
Lee Hyori politely clasped her hands and pointed out to Yoo Jae-suk, who was reaching his hand toward the camera, "Spread your fingers a bit." Yoo Jae-suk responded with a model answer, "You have to be polite." Also, Yoo Jae-suk watched Rain and Lee Hyori flirting toward the camera and said with satisfaction, "Look at them. It’s good."
Additionally, Section TV reporter Park Seul-gi appeared for Ssaksseuri’s first interview. Park Seul-gi cleared the prepared questions with rapid-fire hosting skills, and Yoo Jae-suk admired, "Where do I have to go? Why do you speak so fast?"
Before the interview, Rain said, "The feeling is strange," and Yoo Jae-suk remarked, "Doesn’t it feel like a nostalgic trip? (Section TV ended earlier this year.) Appearing on Section TV means you’re officially a celebrity." Then Rain confessed, "That’s right. It was my wish to appear on Section TV."
After Park Seul-gi’s witty questions and Ssaksseuri’s high-energy answers, Park Seul-gi finally asked, "Isn’t Lee Sang-soon worried about your activities in Seoul?" Lee Hyori nodded and replied, "He worries a lot. He always says we’re like children left by the water and that we cause trouble when he’s not around."
At this point, Yoo Jae-suk pointed out, "Usually, groups don’t comment on these things when they debut," and Lee Hyori asked, "Dating? Do you keep it a secret?" Yoo Jae-suk then told Park Seul-gi, "Please keep it a secret for now," making Park Seul-gi smile. Rain said, "I have two daughters, so I’ll give you an exclusive later."
After the interview, the members each prepared their solo songs. Yoo Jae-suk met with Park To-ben to record "Durijua." Meanwhile, Kwanghee appeared. Park To-ben explained, "I called him because I thought the two would go well together." So the two recorded a duet.
Lee Hyori worked on a solo project with Code Kunst. When Lee Hyori tried singing in a mid-low tone, Code Kunst expressed satisfaction, saying, "It’s so good. Everyone is nodding. It’s perfect."
Meanwhile, Rain invited Mamamoo for his solo song. Meeting Mamamoo, Rain said, "I strongly insisted that this song would be best with Mamamoo," expressing his gratitude. Rain showcased fantastic doubling and ad-libs, and the recording continued warmly with Mamamoo exchanging "It’s so good" with each other.
After tasting the solo song preparation process, the Ssaksseuri members continued filming the rest of the music video. They also shared bittersweet feelings while monitoring. The broadcast ended with Ssaksseuri’s official MV for "Dashi Yeogi Badatga."
MBC’s variety show "How Do You Play?" airs every Saturday at 6:30 PM.
