Yujin Investment & Securities "Trade Stocks on the Syrup App Too"

[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Eugene Investment & Securities announced on the 16th that it has opened a ‘Stock Mall Service’ within SK Planet’s fintech platform ‘Syrup’ to support convenient stock trading for its users.

With the launch of this service, Syrup customers can now conveniently trade domestic stocks within the app without needing a separate securities firm MTS. The available domestic stocks for trading include KOSPI, KOSDAQ, ETFs, and ETNs.

The method to use the Stock Mall service is simple. First, access the ‘Syrup’ app, then go to the ‘My Finance’ category and open the ‘Eugene Investment & Securities Stock·Fund Mall’ event page. From there, open a dedicated account through the ‘Eugene Ssoksok Stock Mall Shortcut’ and complete a simple authentication registration consisting of a 6-digit number.

In the Stock Mall, for users unfamiliar with stock investment, information on ‘Today’s Top (TOP) Stocks’ by major themes such as top trading volume, rate of increase, new highs, and rate of decline is provided. Additionally, users can find financial information and investment points for each stock, as well as bid prices and chart information. Eugene Investment & Securities had previously launched a Fund Mall service through the ‘Syrup’ app in July last year.

To provide this Stock Mall service, Eugene Investment & Securities partnered with the electronic wallet platform ‘Syrup,’ which has introduced various lifestyle financial services since its launch. By expanding its service area from Fund Mall to Stock Mall, ‘Syrup’ has taken a step closer to becoming a comprehensive financial platform.

To commemorate the opening of the Stock Mall, Eugene Investment & Securities has prepared an event. First, until the 31st, customers who open a new Eugene Investment & Securities account through the ‘Syrup’ Stock Mall will receive 10,000 OK Cashback points, and an additional 30,000 OK Cashback points will be awarded for stock trades exceeding 1 million KRW. Furthermore, among these customers, 20 will be selected by lottery to receive a 1-gram gold bar.

Min Byung-don, Head of WM Division at Eugene Investment & Securities, said, “Following the Fund Mall, we collaborated with Syrup to introduce the Stock Mall service to support convenient investment for fintech app customers. We will continue to actively collaborate with various fintech platform companies to support our customers’ successful investments.”
