[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Lotte Hotel Vladivostok has been selected as an outstanding company for its contribution to the Russian tourism industry.
Lotte Hotel Vladivostok announced on the 2nd that it was selected as an "Outstanding Company" on the 20th of last month, which is the Russian Federation's "Corporate Day." This is the first case among foreign companies in Vladivostok.
Started in 2007 and now in its 13th year, this event selects companies that have contributed to the economic and social development of Russia every year. Lotte Hotel Vladivostok was recognized for its contribution to the development of the Russian tourism industry with differentiated facilities and Korean-style service.
During the week of May 26, designated as Corporate Day, various events such as congratulatory speeches by government officials and businesspeople from across the country, awards for this year's companies, seminars to promote the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises, and charity events are held. However, this year, no separate events were held due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Lotte Hotel Vladivostok opened in April 2018 after Lotte Hotel acquired Vladivostok Hyundai Hotel and underwent about three months of rebranding work. It has 153 rooms, 2 restaurants, 4 banquet halls, a swimming pool, sauna, and fitness center, and is located in the city center, within a 10-minute walk to major tourist attractions.
Meanwhile, last December, Lotte Hotel Vladivostok was honored with the "Best Hotel in Primorsky Krai" award, beating local hotels, at the "Primorsky Krai Tourism Industry Leader" selection hosted by the Primorsky Krai government.
