[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Model-turned-actor Park Ji-hoon passed away on the 11th at the age of 32 after battling stomach cancer.
The family of the late Park Ji-hoon announced his death on his social networking service (SNS) on the 15th.
Park Ji-hoon’s family stated, "We are posting this separately out of concern that we may have accidentally failed to contact some people. We deeply appreciate the warm condolences and encouragement sent despite the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19)."
They continued, "Thanks to you, my younger brother was sent off well to heaven. It was a great strength not only to me but also to our family. We will not forget and will remember."
They added, "Please always be careful of the COVID-19 virus and we wish you continued success. Once again, we express our deep gratitude."
Meanwhile, the late Park Ji-hoon, born in 1989, played the role of 'Jeon Doo-yeop,' a new employee at Hwanggeumgom Publishing Company, in the tvN drama 'Chicago Typewriter.'
