[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Go Dallyeong] Mujinjang Fire Station (Chief Park Deokgyu) announced on the 29th that it took safety measures such as removing dead trees in Hakdong Village, Jeongcheon-myeon on the 28th.

Recently, the entire country has been dry, and especially in some areas, a strong wind advisory has been issued, causing street trees planted along roads to break due to strong winds, and church steeples to collapse, resulting in numerous reports of various damages.

On that day, the Jinan 119 Safety Center rescue team received a report that dead trees on the hills of Hakdong Village, Jeongcheon-myeon, were at risk of falling onto houses due to strong winds, and immediately took safety measures upon receiving the report.

Choi Myeongsik, head of the Jinan 119 Safety Center, said, “Facilities are unstable and the ground is weakened, increasing the risk of various safety accidents. It is most important to prepare in advance for natural disasters such as strong winds. We plan to provide maximum firefighting support for protecting people's livelihoods through continuous safety inspections of areas at risk of damage and thorough countermeasures with an all-out response.”
