[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] DJ and composer Maximate (30, Shin Min-chul), known for the title track "Pick Me" from "Produce 101 Season 1," has revealed his relationship.
On the 30th, Maximate posted on his Instagram, saying "Please allow us. We will meet well," along with a photo taken with his partner.
In the released photo, Maximate is smiling while looking straight ahead, wearing matching white T-shirts and hats with his girlfriend.
The girlfriend revealed by Maximate is model and YouTuber Lee Si-a.
Maximate was involved in controversy in 2018 over allegations of assaulting his ex-girlfriend and drug charges. He was sentenced in the first trial to 2 years and 6 months in prison with a 3-year probation, 80 hours of community service, and 40 hours of drug treatment lectures for the drug charges.
Regarding the assault charges against his ex-girlfriend, he has filed an appeal, and the trial is ongoing.
