TVXQ says made SHINee's Onew cry with prank

Korean duo TVXQ has said that they once made boy band SHINee's Onew cry by playing a prank on him.

They made the remark while appearing as guests alongside fellow SM Entertainment artists f(x) and SHINee member Onew, on popular KBS variety program "Happy Together Season 3," which aired Thursday.

TVXQ's U-Know Yunho said, "We all know that Onew is really nice but it's usually hard to tell what he's really like so we decided to pull a prank on him with the members of Super Junior.”

Then he went onto explain, “The setting was that we (TVXQ and Super Junior) were arguing and fighting with one another but Onew started crying while trying to pull us apart."

"Onew has grown a lot during the past two years," TVXQ went onto say. "He couldn't even greet us properly when he saw us but he's extremely friendly now and calls us 'hyung' (word used by younger males to older males)."

f(x) member Sulli added, "I guess pulling pranks are the tradition. We got pranked by SHINee."
